This hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of service and attention to detail. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were clean and had AC, and the breakfast provided was simple but good. The location of the hotel was also great, as it was in a quiet area and centrally located between the attractions on the East and West sides of the island.
No aspect that needs improvement.

We had a blast exploring Plabuhan Tradisional Sampalan and Port Roro Nusa Jaya Abadi. The activities there were totally worth it and added so much fun to our trip. The hostel itself was great too - clean rooms, refreshing swimming pool, and tasty breakfast. The owners were super helpful and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. Can't wait to go back!
If there was one thing I'd ask for, it would be more options for young party-goers. It would have been awesome to have a lively bar or some organized social events at the hostel.

My stay at Gedhong was exceptional! The hosts went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. They surprised me with a freshly made smoothie using fruits from their own fridge and even purchased my boat ticket. The pool was a great addition and the entire place was spotlessly clean. I also enjoyed meeting fellow travelers, despite not having a typical hostel atmosphere.

Located in a charming area, the hostel is only a short stroll away from a few F&B spots and small convenient stores. the rooms are clean and comfortable, with air conditioning and warm showers. the friendly staff is always ready to help, and you can easily rent scooters for a fair price. the breakfast is simple but good, and the pool is a nice plus.
The available blankets are a bit small for those who like to wrap up at night.

The hosts were wonderful and went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. Breakfast was a great opportunity to mingle with fellow travellers. The beds were comfortable, the showers hot, and the air conditioning worked well. The extra touch of a pool was perfect to cool off after a day of exploring. Plus, the location was convenient for getting around the city.
The rooms were not very well maintained and had a musty, damp smell. The lack of cleanliness in the bedding was also concerning.

I had a really good stay at this hotel. the value for money was excellent. The prices were very reasonable and they even gave me a good deal on tours and extra breakfasts. Secondly, the attention to detail was impressive. The rooms were spotless and the basic amenities provided were more than enough. Additionally, the staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Lastly, the location was fine, even though I didn't have a scooter. It was in a quiet area and was great for exploring both the East and West attractions of the island.
All was great, nothing to complain about.

The place had a great vibe overall. One of the best perks was the friendly and helpful staff. They provided lots of information about the area, and even offered help with renting motorbikes. the pool was also a highlight, perfect for cooling off after a day of exploring. the location was convenient too, with restaurants and cafes a short stroll away. the free breakfast was filling and tasty.
Sadly, the hostel lacked in the cleanliness department. Although the room was okay, the common areas could have been tidier and maintained better.

I recently stayed at Gedhong in Nusa Penida for a week-long vacation. The hostel was clean and well-maintained, giving off a resort-like vibe. The owner, Komang, was incredibly helpful and provided excellent service. From helping us rent scooters to arranging boat tickets, he went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The location was perfect, being close to the main market and surrounded by local eateries. The free welcome drink and cookies were a delightful touch, and the proximity to the port made transportation easy. I highly recommend Gedhong for a convenient and comfortable stay in Nusa Penida.
Would recommend this hotel.
